The MEALS4NCDs Project is closely monitoring developments of the current global COVID-19 pandemic to determine how it may impact the FERN 2020 Meeting scheduled for September 1st to 2nd 2020 in Accra, Ghana.
As a result of the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases the host country (Ghana), the government of Ghana has placed temporary bans on all social gatherings (including conferences and workshops), as well as temporary restrictions on travel to the country.
Nonetheless, the MEALS4NCDs Project Team remain committed to ensuring a successful FERN Meeting at the scheduled time and is working hard towards this. Further updates will be communicated here as the situation unfolds, including any necessitated changes to the meeting date.
