Ms Joana Ansong is a Public Health Nurse with health promotion orientation. She started as a clinical nurse at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital and moved on to nursing education where she taught in a Nursing Training College. She worked with International NGOs to roll out public health interventions in Ghana, most recently with Johns Hopkins University/ Center for Communication Programs/ BCS Project. She has also worked with CHF International as a Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) Specialist.
She currently works with World Health Organization, Ghana Country Office as the Health Promotion Focal Point. She also supports the GHS/NCDs Programme to implement interventions to reduce modifiable risk factors.
